Short CV:

José Manuel Pérez Ríos is Professor at the University of Valladolid (Spain). He graduated from the University of País Vasco in Industrial Engineering (1974) and obtained his Ph.D in 1989 in the Technical University of Madrid. He was Director of International Relations at the University of Valladolid, where he participated in the creation of the Tordesillas Group and the HORIZONTE-2000 and IBERFORA projects. He has directed multiple national and international research projects and has more than 80 publications in journals, book chapters and congresses. He received the «Kybernetes Research Award» and the «Honorary HSSS Award as Distinguished Scientist«. He is «Honorary Editor» of the Journal of Applied Systemic Studies, member of the Board of Directors of the World Organization of Systems and Cybernetics (WOSC), member of the Hellenic Society for Systemic Studies (HSSS) and Academician of the International Academy of Systems and Cybernetic Sciences (IASCYS). His research interests within the INSISOC Group include Systems Dynamics and Organizational Cybernetics.
